Norfolk Island Pine is not actually a pine. With that being said, it's best to keep them indoors. These trees grow wild on a small Pacific Island near New Zealand where they can grow to be up to 200 feet tall! They make a fun stand in Christmas tree for the home. Usual growth is 6-8' x 3-5' But can be kept smaller in small pots.

Treat Norfolk Island Pines like a tropical plant. Keep their soil moist but not wet. They also prefer humid environments, so during winter be sure to install a humidity tray, provide a humidifier or mist the tree at least once a week. They can grow larger indoors but they can be kept small with smaller pots.

Feed using Jack's Houseplant Special during spring and summer months to encourage growth.
