Hemerocallis 'Raspberry Suede'
One of the most popular perennials in existence. No garden should be without them. Available in a wide array of colors. Extend your flowering time by combining early, mid and late season cultivars. Blooms in summer. Tolerates pollution, slopes, poor and dry soils and near pavement that is salted in winter.
Aptly named, the unusually smooth, velvety texture of this daylily is very much like suede. The large 5" flowers are a unique shade of rich raspberry red. They display a pie crust edge, diamond dusted petals, and small chartreuse throat. Two or three way branched scapes carry 20 or more buds a piece in mid-season.
