Our Blue Lake Bush Beans seeds are sure to bring you many branched bean bush plants that produce heavy yields of green bean pods.
Blue Lake Green Bean pods have a similar appearance to the pole variety of Blue Lake beans. These bush green beans have 6.5" long rounded pods. These beans also boast disease resistance and are high in vitamins A, B and C!
This bean variety reaches maturity in roughly 55-60 days, so we recommend harvesting your pods around this time. Bush beans are determinate and therefore the pods on this plant will last about 3 weeks post maturation before the plants begin to wither.

Thin to one (1) plant every 4" when the plants have four true leaves. Pick early and often to encourage production. Sow these seeds every two weeks up until eight weeks before fall frost.
Suggestions: Avoid working around beans when wet as this may spread diseases. When weeding, hoe gently because beans are shallow-rooted. Mulch plants only after thinning.
